Roxbury Township Police Department, NJ Police Jobs

 


During the period of June 14, 2024, through July 14, 2024, the Roxbury Township Police Department will be accepting applications for the position of a PTC Certified Police Officer. If you meet the eligibility requirements below, please apply through PoliceApp.com. We plan to immediately hire one officer from this process due to an above average number of pending retirements. Selection will be based on interview only.


Eligibility Requirements:
• Must possess a valid Basic Police Officer certification from the New Jersey Police Training Commission or currently be enrolled in a New Jersey PTC certified police academy. SLEO II officers eligible for immediate waiver will be considered.
• Must be between 18 and 35 years of age at the time of appointment
• Must be a United States citizen at the time of appointment
• Must possess a valid New Jersey driver’s license at the time of appointment


Must also have one of the following:
• 60 college credits with (2) years of any type of gainful employment.
• Honorable Discharge from the United States military with a minimum of (3) years of service.
• A four year college degree.


Starting salary is negotiable based on experience. Patrol officer pay as per the current PBA contract is $56,307 to $131,939.
