Our Department

The current staffing for the Reserve Township Police Department comprises the Chief of Police, a Sergeant, and five full-time officers. To address scheduling gaps, part-time officers are utilized.

Our Mission 

The primary mission of the Reserve Township Police Department is to actively promote, preserve, and, to the extent possible with existing resources, foster a sense of security and safety for all individuals within the jurisdiction of our agency.

Our Community

Situated as a First-Class Township adjacent to the City of Pittsburgh, Reserve Township is characterized as a residential suburban community with a population of approximately 3,200. Notable for its safety, community focus, and proximity to the City, the area is keenly engaged in supporting Pittsburgh sports teams and enjoys easy access to various cultural activities.
