About the Quakertown Borough Police Department

The Quakertown Borough Police Department consists of the Chief of Police, Lieutenant, five Sergeants, two Detectives, twelve Patrol Officers, and three support staff.

Police protection is provided 24 hours a day, seven days a week. In addition to patrolling the Borough, the Department responds to emergencies and accidents. The Department also provide non-emergency services such as assisting drivers locked out of their cars, vacation checks, providing accident reports, and fingerprinting.

The Borough is part of the county 911 system for Police, Fire and Ambulance calls. To "SAVE A LIFE or STOP A CRIME" DIAL 911 and report the Emergency (Police-Fire-Ambulance). Because the 911 lines need to be kept open for true emergencies, please do not call 911 in non-emergency situations.

Mission Statement:

We, the members of the Quakertown Borough Police Department, are committed to the prevention of crime and the protection of life and property; the preservation of peace, order and safety; the enforcement of laws and ordinances; and the safeguarding of the federal and state constitutional guarantees.

Values Statement:

Serve all people with respect, fairness, and compassion. Nurture public trust by holding ourselves to the highest standards of performance, ethics, and integrity. Improve the quality of life by maintaining order, recognizing and resolving community problems and apprehending criminals.
