The Town of Hampstead is currently accepting applications for the position of Police Officer. This is a full-time position with a competitive salary and benefits plan. The Hampstead Police Department is focused on providing quality law enforcement services based on a community policing model to the residents & businesses of the Town of Hampstead and the surrounding community. If you hold a current Maryland State Police Officer Certification or from another jurisdiction and are comparative compliance eligible, please use this post to apply.

Requirements:

  • 21 Years of Age
  • U.S. Citizen
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Successful applicants must be capable of passing an oral interview and comprehensive background investigation, including a polygraph test & psychological screening, as well as a physical & drug screening.
