NM Certified Police Officer for the

City of Ruidoso Downs

The City of Ruidoso Downs is accepting applications for a NM Certified Police Officer. Starting pay $22.06 per hour, with a complete benefit package. Applications will be accepted until positions are filled. Applications can be completed online at www.PoliceApp.com/RDPD. 

Certified “Out of State” applicants are also encouraged to apply.  Out of state certified applicants would be required to attend a two-week certification by waiver class, at the New Mexico State Police Academy, if hired.  Certified out of state applicants start at $22.06 per hour, until completion of the New Mexico Certification by waiver class.  After completion of the class, the employee will be bumped up to $24.06 per hour.  Additional incentive pay does exist for certain types of police certifications.
