Deputy - Maryland Certified

Starting Salary: Full-Time  $55,037 - $60,694 annually

Part-time   $26.46 - $29.18 hourly

We Offer:

• Promotion to Deputy First Class after three years of full-time satisfactory service
• Annual clothing/uniform/shoe allowance
• Paid Vacation: 80 hours a year, accrual begins upon employment (full-time employees)
• Sick Leave: 4.62 hrs per pay period / 120 hours annually, no maximum accrual
• Personal Leave: 48 hours annually (full-time employees)
• Holidays: 13-15 days per year
• Bereavement Leave: Up to 3 days per qualifying occurrence

Minimum Qualifications Include:

• Must be 21 years old
• Must have High School Diploma or GED Equivalency
• Must be a United States Citizen
• Must hold a valid driver’s license
• Must have successfully completed Entrance Level Academy as set forth by the Maryland Police Corrections Training Commission

2. Background Investigation
3. Computer Voice Stress Analysis (CVSA)
4. Medical Exam / Drug Screening / M.P.C.T.C. mandated Physical Agility Assessment
