We are a department of 39 officers that serve an area of approximately 3 square miles. We maintain a 24 officer Patrol Division, 6 officer Detective Bureau and 6 officer Traffic Unit. In addition to our traditional police duties, we offer a wide variety of community programs.

We the employees of the Hawthorne Police Department are here to serve all people within our jurisdiction with respect, fairness and sensitivity.
