Serving the municipalities of Ephrata Borough, Ephrata Township, West Cocalico Township and Adamstown Borough we strive to keep our neighborhoods safe through effective law enforcement as well as by preventing crimes before they occur. The department offers a full spectrum of modern police services, including preventive patrol, traffic safety, criminal investigation, community safety programs, and emergency response capabilities.
Moreover, the Ephrata Police Department is deeply committed to working with its residents, businesses, and institutions to form truly effective police-community partnerships. This is especially true with regard to the youth of our community. EPD's involvement in programs like our School Resource Officer, Girls on the Run, Dreamcatcher, and the Youth Aid Panel, reflect our goal of reducing crime and violence and preventing substance abuse among our young people.
The men and women of the Ephrata Police Department are steeped in the tradition of providing quality service to the citizens of Ephrata. It is our honor to dedicate our energies to making this the location of choice to live, work, raise a family and visit.
OUR MISSION
The Mission of the Ephrata Police Department is to guard the life, property,
