TOWN OF WESTBOROUGH
Full-Time Police Officer / Reserve Police Officers
The Westborough Police Department is a professional, 6th Edition Accredited Police Agency seeking qualified applicants for the position of full-time Police Officer.
Applicants must have a high school diploma, (college degree preferred); six months to one year of related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Massachusetts Police Academy certification in accordance with MGL Ch. 41 is preferred.
Certified officers are strongly encouraged to apply. Lateral officers will start at pay scale and with benefits commensurate with experience.
All appointments are subject to meeting the requirements set forth by the Massachusetts Peace Officer Standards and Training Commission. Applicants must be able to complete a physical and psychological examination and a comprehensive background investigation.
The Town of Westborough offers a very competitive salary and benefits package to include full Quinn Bill benefits for all new officers who qualify in accordance with the current CBA.
