SPRINGFIELD, VT POLICE DEPARTMENT
Full-Time Police Officer
The Town of Springfield is accepting applications for the full time position of Patrol Officer. We are seeking energetic, positive professionals with a strong desire to provide quality police services to a progressive community. Successful candidates will receive the following Benefits, Health care, VMERS Plan D retirement, Three weeks’ vacation, rotating shifts, and 10% night differential. Springfield Police Department is represented by New England Police Benevolent Association Local 401. Starting pay with no experience is $25.18 per hour. If certified as a police officer in Vermont, starting pay adjusted to level of experience. The Town of Springfield is an equal opportunity employer.
Minimum Requirements:
- Must be a U.S. Citizen
- Be at least 18 years of age
- High School Diploma/GED
- Must have a valid Driver's License
