Police/Rescue Dispatch
Starting $55,740
The Bristol Police Department is currently seeking qualified candidates for the position of Police/Rescue Dispatcher. Applicants must meet the following minimum requirements:
- Must be a United States citizen
- Must be at least 18 years of age on or before appointment.
- Must possess a valid motor vehicle operator’s license
- Must possess a high school or GED.
- Must pass a comprehensive background investigation, oral interview, drug screening, and a medical exam before appointment.
- Must be willing and available to work various shifts and hours.
SALARY:
- $51,329
- Clothing Allowance $700 yearly
- Regular Detail Rate $56.00 p/h
- Special Detail Rate $76.00 p/h
- Longevity 4-7 years of service 3% = $1,539
- 8-12 years of service 4% = $2,053
- 12-17 years of service 6% = $3,079
- 17-22 years of service 7% = $3,593
- 22-plus years of service 8% = $4,106
- Annual Accreditation Incentive $750
- 15 Paid Holidays Annually $2,961

Vacation Days

Single Plan $2,400 Family Plan $6,000
(based on the current collective bargaining agreement)
