The Kenilworth Police Department is currently accepting applications for the position of Police Officer. At this time, we have two openings for a NJ-PTC lateral transfer or an alternate route applicant. You must be NJ-Police Training Commission certified at the time of appointment to qualify. An exemption or waiver of training or participation in the "GAP Program" is not being offered to active Correctional Police Officers for this position. We are not seeking special 1 or 2 law enforcement officers.
Selected candidates will be invited to participate in the oral interview portion of this application process. All candidates must pass both a medical and psychological examination along with a background investigation.
