THE PLYMOUTH POLICE DEPARTMENT IS NOW HIRING FOR THE POSITION OF

ENTRY LEVEL POLICE OFFICER

 

TOWN OF PLYMOUTH

POLICE OFFICER POSITION

The Town of Plymouth a rural community in Litchfield County covering 22.4 square miles and home to approximately 12,000 residents with a police department comprised of twenty-four (24) officers is accepting applications for the position of Police Officer. Individuals must meet POST Entry Level Requirements.  Salary ranges from $61,222.77 to $95,990.30 in the current collective bargaining agreement.  All candidates must possess a valid CT driver's license and be a non-smoker.  Must pass written, oral, Physical Fitness Assessment Battery Test (40th Percentile - Cooper), psychological, polygraph, physical examination, drug screening, and background investigation.  Two (2) weeks paid vacation , holiday, personal, sick, and bonus time, uniform/cleaning allowance, longevity pay, MERS Pension Plan, excellent benefits package, four (4) days on and two (2) days off work schedule.
