The Plymouth Police Department is comprised of 13 Full -Time sworn Police Officers making up the Patrol Division and the Detective Division.

The Plymouth Police Department also runs a 24/7 regional dispatch center for 10 other agencies to include Plymouth. Plymouth PD handles roughly 50,000 calls for service a year.

Mission

Our Mission is to serve the entire community as both facilitator and problem solver, recognizing that we have a unique citizen makeup of traditional residents, short-term residents, and transient populations, all of whom have different needs.

We will serve our Town fairly and impartially in the enforcement of laws, as we protect life and safeguard property, and as we attempt to support traditional community values.

We will use department resources in an organized, maintained and deployed manner consistent with our mission, and we will strive to instill public confidence by maintaining a high degree of professionalism, dedication and expertise in the delivery of our services.
