The Town of Madison is a community located within New Haven County with its southern-most boundary on Long Island Sound and extending approximately 18 miles to our north. Madison is home to approximately 19,000 year-round residents and over 1,000,000 summer visitors to Hammonsset Beach State Park.
The men and women who serve the community are a very dedicated and professional staff that is sensitive to the diverse needs of all, embodying our Mission Statement to join in partnership with the community whereby the Madison Police Department will provide high quality, professional and effective police service with courtesy, integrity and respect.
The goal of these men and women is to provide resources to provide services that ultimately maintain a safe community, twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week.
