The Lee Police Department is a growing agency that consists of a Chief of Police, Lieutenant, Sergeants, Patrol Officers, Reserve Police Officers, Administrative Assistant and Mental Health Co-Responder. Members of this agency are resolute professionals that care deeply for the community they serve.

Mission Statement

As Chief of Police for the Town of Lee, I am very proud of our community and all it has to offer. It continues to be an honor and privilege to serve our citizens. I feel very fortunate to have been part of this community for many years. I graduated from our local High School, raised my own family here and have served with the Lee Police Department for 29 years.

Members of this Agency are dedicated to protecting the vulnerable and reducing crime while providing for the safety and welfare of our citizens and visitors alike. Like me, all staff members care deeply for the community they serve. They were chosen based on their strong ethics and desire to make a positive difference every day. Together, we are a full-service law enforcement agency that is committed to maintaining a safe and secure community through service and respect. Our goal remains to deliver high quality and efficient public safety services while working in close cooperation with local government, schools, community groups, businesses, and residents.

We are committed to this mission while simultaneously supporting a meaningful connection with our community through building on our given trust and keeping a strong focus on small-town community engagement.

The town of Lee Massachusetts is centrally located in Berkshire County. The Massachusetts I90 corridor passes through Lee and the community is recognized as the gateway to the Berkshires. Lee is a quintessential New England community, known for its historic small-town charm. It is home of one of the most scenic and culturally vibrant areas of the state. Every season brings thousands of tourists to Lee and the Berkshires for the scenery, the arts, and the activities. Lee is home to the premium shopping outlets and numerous downtown shops and restaurants, but is also surrounded by natural beauty, offering opportunities for hiking, hunting, swimming, fishing, and boating.
