Minimum Requirements:

• Emergency Communications Officer: (40 hour course)
• Emergency Medical Dispatching; (EMD-32 hour course)
• CPR certification

 

Job Description:

We're looking for top-notch, able-bodied and sharp-minded professionals to fill the position of Police Dispatcher. The successful candidate will be responsible for updating records and documents, communicating with police officers in real time and responding efficiently to any incidents that can occur. A successful candidate will have at least two years of strong customer service experience and will be a quick and reliable communicator.

Responsibilities:

• Answer calls and relay information to officers in the field.
• Be able to dispatch and coordinate police, fire and EMS units in emergency situations.
• Have knowledge of a variety of laws and ordinances.

 

Salary:

Starting salary is $55,364 with 5 steps to a top salary of $69,876

• 12 hour shift
