The Lindenwold Police Department is seeking to hire for the position of Full-Time Police Officer. We are looking to hire dedicated and energetic individuals who have a passion for community policing. We currently employ 44 Sworn Police Officers, 1 Special Law Enforcement Officer (SLEO III), 5 Civilian Employees, and approximately 20 Crossing Guards. We offer competitive benefits and salary as well as excellent training and equipment.
Requirement Qualifications:
- The position is for BCPO Certified and entry-level police officers. SLEO II and County Corrections Officers, which can be waived are also encouraged to apply.
- Applicants would be required to attend the Camden County Police Academy in July 2025.
Additional Requirements:
- Must possess a High School Diploma or GED
- Must be 18 years of age and less than 35 years of age at the time of appointment.
- Must be a resident of New Jersey and a citizen of the United States.
- Must possess a valid New Jersey driver’s license.
- Applicants must be of good moral and ethical character.
- Must not have been convicted of any criminal offense or offenses involving moral depravity.
Entry Level Salary: $54,574
