The Mountainside Police Department is seeking a full time Public Safety Telecommunicator for its emergency communication center. Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to: Receiving and dispatching emergency and non-emergency police, fire, and EMS calls for service by telephone, radio, and/or computer and providing information to the public. The position requires basic typing skills for data entry and involves contact with the public via telephone and in person.
