SLEO I, CORRECTIONS, AND OUT OF STATE OFFICERS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED
The Lincoln Park Police Department is now accepting applications for Full-Time Police Officer. Applicants must be currently enrolled in a New Jersey Alternate Route Basic Police Officer Course, SLEO II who has attended a full (comingled) academy OR be in accordance with the New Jersey Civil Service Commissions (CSC) Intergovernmental Transfer Program (ITP).
In accordance with the ITP program, applicants must currently be employed as a sworn officer in a New Jersey Civil Service law enforcement agency and their agency MUST be willing to approve the transfer. Applicants must have graduated from a New Jersey PTC certified law enforcement academy, be in possession of a New Jersey PTC Basic Police Officer certificate and valid police license.
