Full-Time Police Officer

We are constantly accepting applications and will process them on a first come first serve basis. 

Staring Salary for 2025 is $40,018.87

The West Wildwood Police Department is hiring for the position of Police Officer!  Applications are now being accepted until May 30th, 2025.  Police Training Commission certification or alternate route academy graduate not required.

Preference given to those who already possess a NJ PTC certification

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must be a resident of New Jersey and a citizen of the United States.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Meet the requirements of and be eligible for membership in the Police and Fire Retirement System (PFRS).
• Read, write, and speak English.
• Be of good moral character and free of conviction of any crime constituting an indictable offense or offense involving moral turpitude.
• Must pass a background investigation, oral interview, physical, psychological, medical and drug examinations and meet essential job functions.
• Possess a valid New Jersey Driver’s License.
