FULL TIME NJ PTC CERTIFIED POLICE OFFICER

GENERAL DUTIES

Exercise authority consistent with the obligations imposed by the oath of office and in conformance with the general duties of the Department. To protect life and property, preserve the peace and perform their duties promptly, faithfully and diligently.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS'

• Must be 18 years or older
  US Citizen
  Graduated from High School or GED program
  Valid New Jersey Driver’s License
  Full New Jersey Police Training Commission (PTC) Certification a must. 
• Applicants currently in enrolled in an alternate route academy with a 2025 graduation date are encouraged to apply
