Carteret - Inter-Governmental Transfer
Job Announcement:
INTER GOVERNMENTAL TRANSFER POSITIONS
The Borough of Carteret, which is a Civil Service police department, is now accepting applications for Inter-Governmental Transfers.
Requirements:
- Must be a fully certified police officer with a valid PTC certification
- Must be currently employed as a full time police officer from a Civil Service jurisdiction
- Present employer must ultimately approve of transfer.
- Must be in sound physical condition and capable of performing the physical functions of the duties assigned.
- Be of good moral character and positive work history
- Must pass a comprehensive background investigation, psychological testing, drug screening through urinalysis and an oral review
