POLICE OFFICER
Minimum Requirements:
- Applicant must be a minimum 21 years of age prior to the conclusion of their Act 120 Certification Training.

Applicant must be a United States citizen.

Applicant shall possess a diploma from an accredited high school or a graduate equivalency diploma (GED).

Applicant must possess a valid driver's license issued by any state of the United States and must possess a valid driver's license issued by the Commonwealth of PA in accordance with a conditional offer of employment.

Applicant must be able to perform the required duties outlined in the Police Officer Job Description form and requirements listed in the Essential Duties of a Police Officer form.

Testing Requirements:
- Physical Fitness Test - pass/fail
- Written Exam - passing score of 75%
- Oral Interview Exam - passing score of 75%

- Written Exam

- Background Investigation including a polygraph examination
- Conditional Offer of Employment upon completion of Physical Exam (including vision, hearing, drug screen) and Psychological Exam.
- Police Academy training for applicant without Act 120 Certification OR Field Training for applicant with Act 120 Certification
