RUMSON POLICE DEPARTMENT

JOB ANNOUNCEMENT

SLEO II

The Rumson Police Department is accepting applications for full-time, certified SLEO 2 Police Officers.

Applicants must meet the following eligibility requirements:

Must be a graduate of a New Jersey Police Training Commission Basic Course for Class 2 Special Law Enforcement Officers, and possess a NJ SLEO II PTC Certification.

Must be between the ages of 18 and 34
Must have a valid NJ Driver’s License
Must be a High School Graduate with a minimum of an Associate’s Degree or sixty (60) college credits from an accredited college or university.
Must be in sound body and of good health and able to perform the physical functions of the duties assigned.
Must be of good moral character and shall not have been convicted of any crime or offense involving moral turpitude.
This is a full time position with personal time off, health and pension benefits.
