CERTIFIED POLICE OFFICER
The Truro Police Department is seeking qualified candidates for the position of police officer. Successful candidates must possess integrity, be highly motivated, and demonstrate good problem-solving skills. Applicants who obtained their law enforcement officer certification from outside Massachusetts will require a permanent exemption from the Massachusetts Municipal Police Training Committee (MPTC).
REQUIREMENTS
Candidates must possess a high school diploma or equivalency. The salary range for certified police officer is $70,499 – $89,306, DOQ, with an excellent benefits package. Salary does not include overtime, shift differential, holiday pay, educational incentives, private details, and clothing and cleaning allowances.
Conditional offers of employment are subject to successful completion of medical and psychological examinations, and a thorough background examination. The application period will be ongoing until position(s) are filled.
