ARMED SCHOOL SECURITY OFFICER (SSO)
TOWN OF NEW MILFORD
The Town of New Milford and New Milford Public Schools is currently accepting applications for the position of Armed School Security Officer (SSO). The SSO position is up to 40 hours per week and have a salary of $27.50/hour.
The responsibilities for this position include carrying out existing district and school procedures and programs related to school security and safety functions. The position reports to the Chief of Police.
To be considered, applicants must be a retired Federal, State, or Municipal police officer who is eligible to be certified as an Armed School Security Officer with the State of Connecticut.
