GENERAL DUTIES
Under the direction of a superior officer, sergeant or supervisor, the police officer is required to perform general law enforcement work involving the protection of life and property through the enforcement of laws and related preventive and investigative work throughout the township.
ABOUT WEST WINDSOR POLICE DEPARTMENT
- The department consists of an authorized strength of fifty-two (52) sworn officers, and eleven (11) full-time civilian personnel.
- The department may offer a Lateral Pay Incentive up to Step 4 of the current contract based on the number of years of sworn full-time service.

- Detective Bureau
- Traffic Division

- The applicant will be required to pay any Title 40A costs associated with leaving their previous agency.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- United States Citizen
- 18 to 35 Years of Age
- Mandatory
- New Jersey Police Training Commission Certification for Basic Police Office / SLEOII
