HANOVER TOWNSHIP POLICE DEPARTMENT

ABOUT OUR DEPARTMENT

The Hanover Township Police Department is an accredited agency whose members take
pride in their proactive response to crime, disorder and quality of life issues. This
approach recognizes our community’s high expectations for professional police services
and has sustained a positive relationship with the community for many years.

We currently employ 32 Full-time police officers and 8 civilian employees. The
department operates its own communications center (PSAP). The department is broken
down into the Patrol Division and the Criminal Investigations Division. We also offer
various specialized assignments such as motorcycle unit, bicycle unit, Records,
MCREDS, and School Resource Officer. We offer our future officers a modern facility,
excellent equipment and a proactive approach to training.
