Cambridge Police Department serves the City of Cambridge, on Maryland's beautiful Eastern Shore. Located on the banks of the Choptank River, Cambridge is approximately halfway between Ocean City, Maryland, and the Annapolis/Baltimore/Washington Metropolitan areas.
The City of Cambridge currently maintains a modern, highly trained, and diverse staff of 46 sworn officers and 12 civilians. The department is located in the Edward E. Watkins Public Safety Complex at 8 Washington Street.
The Cambridge Police Department is the largest municipal police agency in Dorchester County.
